Yerdua (Yeri) Caesar-Kaptoech (she/her) is the Assistant Dean of Administration and Finance, and serves as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief of Staff for the Social Sciences Division. With over 19 years of experience within the University of California system at UC Berkeley and UC Office of the President, Yeri has excelled in roles across student services, program management and administration, and academic operations. Yeri is passionate about access to higher education and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, and is committed to integrating these principles into her work. In addition to her professional achievements, Yeri is a classically trained violinist who enjoys collaborating with fellow musicians on creative projects.
