Bio/CV: 

Nasreen Chopra, VP Sustainability and Systems Engineering, is responsible for the Sustainability Center of Excellence (COE) at Applied Materials. Her focus is to work with internal and external partners, as well as industry consortia and customers, to accelerate development and deployment of products that reduce energy consumption and GHG emissions of semiconductor fabs. She has over 25 years of deep technical and business experience, working in diverse leadership roles, R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and strategic deals. Ms. Chopra started her career at Applied Materials as a process engineer. She went on to be founder and CEO of a venture-backed nanotechnology startup commercializing carbon nanotube growth. She then spent 10 years in the solar industry, including leadership roles at SunPower and Alta Devices. Prior to her return to Applied in 2020, Ms. Chopra spent six years at Apple, where she worked in supply chain, operations, and Apple Pay. Ms. Chopra likes to work with early-stage entrepreneurs and has been an advisor to SmallTech Consulting, Juul, Antora Energy, and others.
