The L&S Faculty Forum is a longstanding college tradition that was reinstituted in Fall 2023. The Forum invites L&S faculty to attend monthly faculty lunches with, and lectures by, colleagues from across the college.

The Faculty Forum is an opportunity for colleagues from across the breadth of our 38 departments to come together for a free lunch and a lecture on a surprise topic by an L&S faculty colleague. Past topics include “Competition and Quality in Science,” “L’Instant Fatal: Voice and Language in Postwar France,” and “The Largest Lake in the Sahara— in the Sahara?” In addition to learning about the fascinating work of our colleagues across the college, past participants have appreciated the chance to meet and make connections with other faculty members.
