Welcome to the newest members of the College of Letters & Science! We are thrilled to introduce the 49 new faculty members who have joined our community this year. While most officially started on July 1, a handful joined us earlier this year in January.
These talented scholars represent hometowns from across the United States and around the world, spanning Chicago, New York, Stockholm, and Mexico City. They bring their own unique backgrounds, research, and expertise to each of our academic divisions: 13 in Arts & Humanities, 21 in Social Sciences, 9 in Mathematical & Physical Sciences, and 6 in Biological Sciences.
Their contributions will undoubtedly enrich the breadth and depth of the liberal arts at UC Berkeley, and we are proud to welcome them to the L&S community.
