The Coordination Board for Admissions, Financial Aid, and Enrollment Management writes that the "target self-help value" for undergrad in-state financial aid rose from $450 to $8400. UC Berkeley is still on the good side of the numbers compared to the UC average. The increase is mostly due to increases in expected student expenses. The board is looking to house about fifty students at Mills College in the fall of this year, perhaps in concert with some Bio 1A/1B-style courses. Other joint programs are being considered as well.
