Upper Division Elective Requirements
Every Environmental Sciences student is required to take one 3- or 4-unit upper division course in the chosen area of emphasis: Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Social Sciences.
Additionally, students are required to complete at least 30 upper division units in the major. All upper division courses taken to fulfill the Environmental Sciences requirements (ES 100, ERG 102, the Human Environment Interactions class, course in chosen area of emphasis, etc.) will count toward this 30-unit minimum. If the upper division Environmental Sciences courses a student takes do not total 30 units, students must fulfill the minimum 30-unit requirement by taking additional courses from the major electives list below.
