Adviser Help Desk on its Way!!

Campus advising staff: imagine having a handbook at your disposal with answers to all your College advising questions.

For instance, have you ever wondered about the semester-out rule or the difference between canceling and withdrawing from a semester? When to refer a student to L&S advising?  Or how you, as a staff person, can receive help from the L&S advising office?  A resource with answers to these and other questions will soon be in existence.

OUA Director of Student Policy Lourdes Miranda, in collaboration with the members of the Departmental Advisory Group (DAG), is now putting the finishing touches on a web-based Adviser Help Desk.  This nifty tool, similar in format to the Letters & Science Faculty Help Desk, is set to debut at the end of the Spring 2007 semester.  Stay tuned for details.
