Homecoming, Reunion, & Family Weekend 2000 Update:
L & S "Picnic with the Profs" Rescheduled as a 10:00 a.m. Brunch

By Genevieve Shiffrar

October 4, 2000

This year's Homecoming football game against U C L A kicks off at 12:30 p.m. Saturday October 14, rather than at 3:30 p.m., as originally scheduled. The football game is the centerpiece of Homecoming, Reunion, and Family Weekend 2000. Some events planned to precede the game have been rescheduled.

The Homecoming B B Q and the Chancellor's Keynote Address on the Campanile Esplanade now commence together at 10:00 a.m. as the Homecoming Brunch and Chancellor's Keynote Address. (For a complete schedule of events, see the Cal Homecoming, Reunion and Family Weekend 2000 web site at http://www.urel.berkeley.edu/homecoming/.)

The College of Letters and Science is hosting a "Picnic with the Profs" at the Homecoming Brunch. Register* to enjoy brunch with old friends and faculty and deans of the College and hear the Chancellor's address. Look for the tent with the L & S banner west of the Campanile.
