Economist Daniel McFadden Wins Nobel Prize
Daniel L. McFadden, E. Morris Cox Professor of Economics, has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences 2000. He shares the prize with James Heckman of the University of Chicago for their work in separate areas of microeconomics. (October 11, 2000)

This year's Homecoming football game against U C L A kicks off at 12:30 p.m. Saturday October 14, not 3:30 p.m., as scheduled. The L & S "Picnic with the Profs" and some Faculty Seminar Sessions are rescheduled to earlier in the day. (October 4, 2000)
