Two openings for Unix/Linux Systems Administrators in IST

Information Services and Technology (IST) is currently seeking two
senior-level Unix Systems Administrators to join its team of talented
system administrators in the IST division. The positions are with the
Enterprise Unix Team in IST-Infrastructure Services, which provides
Unix/Linux server hosting for central campus infrastructure, and Unix/
Linux systems administration for critical campus applications, such as
Oracle Database Services, bSpace (Sakai), and Student Systems (SIS) as
well as several departmental applications.

Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware, and other
virtualization technologies as well as knowledge of applicable
programming languages (e.g., Perl) is required.

Experience with Solaris and/or AIX is also required, as is knowledge
of one or more of the following technologies: Apache/Tomcat, JBOSS,
systems monitoring, and performance/load testing tools and techniques.
