Yes; my configuration is essentially what Erik Klavon outlined in his
excellent presentation "A Shim-based Approach to Authentication Using
CAS". You can find it, along with a few others, at:

Note, that presentation does include information about
Apache2::AuthCAS, but from what I've heard, mod_auth_cas is usually
the way to go.
