The Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee (CSAC) is recruiting new members

The Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee (CSAC) is recruiting new
members to join the committee in January 2009. The deadline for
submitting applications is October 24, 2008, 5 pm.

*Information Sessions and Application Writing Workshops*

Information sessions for interested applicants are 1-hour presentations
that provide an overview of CSAC's committee structure, mission, and
goals. There will also be an opportunity for individuals to ask current
and past CSAC members questions about the committee.

* Thursday, October 9 Information session, 3:00 -- 4:00 pm
Chancellor's Conference Room, 200 California Hall
* Tuesday, October 14 Information session, 12:00 -- 1:00 pm
Chancellor's Conference Room, 200 California Hall

Application writing workshops are 1-hour question-and-answer sessions
that provide a hands-on opportunity for applicants to get feedback on
their essays, provide applicants an opportunity to brainstorm ideas, get
application writing suggestions and writing samples. Workshops
immediately follow each of the information sessions.
