Subject: Web Application Security: A Discussion on the Challenges and
Approaches to Building Secure Web Applications on Campus
With every request submitted through a web site, there is the potential for
a malicious attack, an abuse of functionality, or
inadvertent exposure of the requester's personal information. We will
discuss the Open Web Application Security Project's article,
"The Ten Most Critical Web Application Security Vulnerabilities,"
demonstrate one or two of these attacks, and discuss protection methods.
