Google Public Service Search

This question is for any webmasters using Google's free search facility on
your site. In recent weeks, the link to log in to one's account has been
disabled, with a note saying "This service is currently unavailable,
please try again later." <https://services.google.com/publicservice/login>

It doesn't say that the service is being discontinued, but it's been
several weeks. The email address given in their FAQ for queries produces
an auto-reply saying that they can't answer individual questions.

The search facility is working, and continuing to index my site.

Anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks,
Kathleen
