I meant to thank Aron for the information. I had no problem installing
the registration codes. But I've already been running the (ad-based)
Opera for years, on my Windows and Unix boxes at work as well as on
Windows at home. So, all I had to do was download the appropriate codes
and enter them in the box that pops up when you go to 'Help | Register'
within Opera. And the ads are gone.
