I have recently received a comment from someone who found the L&S online
Donation page intimidating. As we seek donations from some non-native
English speakers, I would like to pay due heed to this comment, since it
is important to make the online donation capability as easy as possible.
The person who wrote to me recommended my project, which is run through
the Dept. of Linguistics (and can have its funds specifically allocated
via the "Special Instructions" section), instead (or in addition?) offer
PayPal, which he personally found helpful in running his website.
Are there any in the Berkeley Webnet community who can offer advice on
this?
*Should we instead work with the online giving people at L&S to simplify
the web-page (and is this likely to happen)?
*Can a PayPal option be offered in addition?
*Is PayPal to be avoided?
With many thanks,
Deborah Anderson
