I have scheduled another presentation on the new UC Microsoft
Consolidated Campus Agreement (UC MCCA). This will be held next
Wednesday, 5/14/03, from 10:30 am to noon, in 60 Barrows Hall. Our
Microsoft representative, Taylor Kao, will join me in making this
presentation. Refreshments will be available. If you are planning
to attend, please RSVP by Monday to Katrina Romero,
avcoasst@uclink.berkeley.edu, so that we can gauge the amount of
refreshments to order.
If your department might be interested in joining the UC MCCA, I urge
you to attend this presentation. Although written material is
available to explain MCCA, you will find it helpful to attend the
presentation and participate in the Q&A about this agreement.
The initial open enrollment period for the UC MCCA is the month of
May. Departments that are considering enrollment at this time need
to do so by May 30th. Evaluating the agreement takes some study, so
interested departments are urged to begin the process right away.
Enrollments in MCCA will be processed by Technology Resource Center
(TRC). TRC has posted information about MCCA at the following site:
