You know, at the risk of re-starting this "keyboard cleaning" topic, one of
my colleagues pointed out recently that they had accidentally discovered
that "Clorox Bleach-Free Hand Sanitizer" (Basically ethyl alcohol, water,
and a mild moisturizer for hands. Doesn't even have as strong a smell as
most hand sanitizers ....) also works to clean off the gunk from keyboards,
etc. We're not talking a complete dunking, of course, but to remove the
years of finger-tip grime from a keyboard, it seems to work.

A few weeks ago someone was talking about cleaning keyboards. Today I
received an email from the Dvice website and found this on the side panel.

Apparently it's not a great product and not sold in America, but I think
there is something similar if not the same stuff. There's this stuff
sold in joke stores that comes in a plastic cup with a lid. You poke
your finger in it and pull and push it in and it makes flatulence
sounds. It looks like the same stuff. I'll give it a try to see if it
works.
