Benjamin,
For a more graphicaly friendly alternative, there is also the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows (UBCD4Win) which can be found here: http://www.ubcd4win.com/downloads.htm which also has a very nice updater feature for lots of its plugins.
It is a fairly straight forward install with a not so straight forward interface, but the devs are very freindly and the forums are always very responsive - plus chances are someone's already asked your question. Irregardless of what your desired purpose would be, the UBCD4Win is a real handy tool to have with you.
I've been using it for a few years now with the ghost 8.0 plugin, so I can help you out if you need it.

Hi Benjamin,
BartPE (http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/) will help you create a bootable WinPE CD. You can easily add support for Ghost and networking (in addition to many other features) via plug-ins. It's been a great resource for me. Good luck!
