Acrobat 8 Reader and HP 2430 PS driver issues

It looks like the current HP PostScript driver for the 2430dtn (the
Windows driver, not the Universal one, running via a network print
server) collides with Reader 8.

The symptom is that any attempt to print with Reader 8 standalone or
embedded in a browser, causes reader to terminate before the print
dialog appears. Administrative accounts can print, but anyone else
loses the application. Clients are WXP, print server is W2K3.

Other applications and other printer drivers seem fine, so we have
switched to the 2430 PCL driver for the moment. Since the 2400 series
has been replaced by the P3005, I am not expecting any updates 8-)
