Hi Monica,

Here's another take that has had me stymied in the past...I don't
know if a Win/PC handles it the same way, but on a Mac if you had,
say, 600MB on the stick and trashed those files to make room for the
new files - they aren't really gone. They may be stored in the
stick's trash. You may need to empty the trash while the stick is
mounted and see if that helps. Of course the fact that the same
thing is happening with another stick means this may not be the
problem in this case.

Just another idea: You say you have a 1GB stick, but did you look at
the info/properties for the drive to see what you might learn there?
