Windows defender and semantic

Hi:
This morning I kept getting a error dialog from both windows defender
and semantic.
The defender dialog kept saying unable to start servos. The semantic
msg kept saying that semantic client security was not up-to-date and to
check this. I ran live update three times and every time there was an
update. I would run it again after it was complete and it said all of the
... So I would restart the computer and all over again. First problem how do
I fix defender, why is it not running.
Second problem what is wrong with scs thanks.
