Marc,

If this is a Lanier machine, you can disable the "Divide and send email"
feature under User Settings > Scanner Features > Send Settings. This path
may be different for different Lanier models.

You will also want to disable the default Max Email Size setting in the same
place, which is why it sends multiple emails and divides the document. The
default setting is 2048 KB or thereabout. Calmail can handle attachments up
to approximately 20 MB. Note that you will quickly exceed the normal 100 MB
Calmail storage quota. A 50 page scanned document ends up as a 4 to 5 MB
PDF.

We have a networked multifunction copier/fax/scanner. Note the machine is
called "Bus_Svcs_265_at_berkeley.edu"

I scanned a large file as a PDF file. It sent it to me split into 4 parts.
The first few lines of the first message are shown below.

In the bad old days when I subscribed to bulletin boards over a dial up
modem I knew away of reassembling these in MS Notepad. But I don't remember
it.

Can anyone tell me how to reassemble this PDF file.
