RE: Weird calnet connection problem

(which should have been there but wasn't) and it worked.

Dear Micronetters,

Starting this morning, I have a computer that will not load any
Calnet-related webisites (blu, bfs, unibears, etc.) but have no problems
going to other UC or non-UC websites. This problem just begin this morning
and there has not been any new programs/settings change.

The weird thing is - the computer WILL connect to the calnet-related
websites if it is on an automatic IP address. It WILL NOT connect to
calnet-related websites if this is on our department's assigned IP, subnet,
etc. I've checked and that IP address is NOT blocked. Indeed, the same
IP/subnet/DG WILL work on other computers to connect to calnet-related
websites. It just won't work on the specific computer. And the specific
computer WILL NOT connect to calnet-related websites using another IP that
works on other computers.

Things I've tried:

-restarting the computer, diabling and re-enbling ethernet connection
(including repair), change the IP (doesn't work on any assigned IP, but
works when it is on "automatic"), restore system settings to previous
configuration.

It would be ideal to get the machine back on its assigned IP and be able to
connect to calnet-related websites.

Any suggestions?
