Micronetters,
Is anyone using campus approved online book vendors that accept Purchase
Orders (not pcards/credit cards)?
I'd love to pick a book on amazon.com, bookpool.com , bn.com, etc... and
have our purchaser order it for us in a short period of time at a
reasonable price.
I was given the impression that most of the online stores don't accept
POs, they only accept credit cards (pcards).
To order from a local store, I was given the impression, that I have to
call them, have them fax me a quote,
and then submit that fax to our purchaser, wait for PO to go through,
pick up book from local store.
It seems like there should be a better way.
I'd much rather pick a book online, have our purchaser submit a PO, and
have the book delivered to my office, at a decent rate.
Thanks in advance for advice on how to order book online with a PO (not
flame on supporting local stores vs. ordering from online vendors).
