Eudora vs. Thunderbird?

All this talk about problems with Eudora has got me
wondering if there are any reasons, other than historical,
why someone would choose to run Eudora rather than
Thunderbird.

The only (good) thing I'm aware of that Eudora does that
Thunderbird doesn't do is to allow me to append my signature on a
message by message basis.

With Eudora, trying to explain about Dominant accounts
was starting to sound like a kinky S&M meeting.

Thunderbird 1.5 will soon be released so it presumably
will be getting even better.

Thoughts?
