Roger,
I just tried to find a 6.2.5 installer or updater on the Eudora site, and
it seems that it vanished, in favor of 7.0 ; Every search hit for 6.2.5
takes me to the 7 download site. So I wouldn't be surprised if Qualcomm
came around in the middle of the night and snatched 6.2.5 out of our
mailbox.
Too bad, though. IIRC, a non-Berkeley installer will update a Berkeley
installation without de-localizing it. And I would love to be able to get
the cleanest version of Eudora 6 without dealing with new user-interface
issues, new and unwanted features, and the usual pain of any "point zero"
software package.
Maybe they still have an updater that missed the purge...
