Lucas Rockwell, Ian Crew, myself, and others have at various times
requested the addition of Mac-specific information on IST-CCS's
secure file transfer page, and our colleagues in CCS appear to be
amenable to adding it.
Ian says he plans to do some basic client testing in the near
future, which may result in Macintosh-specific information being
added to that page. (Thanks, Ian!)

Here's a list of several FTPS clients, with some likelihood but no
assurances that they run under Mac OS X, that they support the FTPS
protocol, and that they play nicely with the campus mainframe:
Secure FTP
http://www.glub.com/products/secureftp/
(Java-based, with thanks to Greg Merritt)
lftp
http://lftp.yar.ru/
(with thanks to Lucas Rockwell)
Transmit
http://www.panic.com/transmit/
(a slick, commercial file transfer product)
cURL
http://curl.haxx.se/
(included with Mac OS X, but users of Mac OS X 10.3 ("Panther") and
earlier may need to install a newer version of cURL to get FTPS support)
SurgeFTP
http://netwinsite.com/surgeftp/
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/23118
(a commercial product whose CLI version is apparently free)
Lucas had also mentioned ProFTPD as another option. From a quick
look at their website, I didn't see a client listed, but perhaps one
may exist.
Lastly, one thing Ian mentioned is worth repeating:
