Locking the Workstation

Hi, Micronetters

I recommended to my users they lock their workstations when they walk
away from them to help protect the systems as part of my security
posture. It was mentioned that having to hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and then
clicking the Lock Computer was a pain so I provided a work-a-round that
works on both Windows 2000 and XP. I have prepared a pdf document just
in case someone out there would like to use this little trick.

It creates a shortcut that you can double click to lock the work
station. Makes it a lot easier to get users to lock their workstations.

The other recommendation I am sure you all do anyway was to set the
screen saver to require a password so it will automatically be locked
for those who forget, etc. I set the time for ten minutes...
