unarchiving an Image.113 file?

I have a user that would like to recover files that are archived in a
file format created by software originally bundled with an Iomega Jazz
drive. The backups were created ca. 2000, and "two computers ago", as
the user puts it. Of course, he no longer has the software that was
used to create the archive.

I was able to come up with two examples of Iomega backup software on
old Iomega CDs, dated 1998. (The installers do an OS check to only
install on Win3.1, 95, or NT, which I've been able to work with via
VirtualPC... and then copy the apps over to Win2k & XP machines.)
Anyway, the Iomega "1-Step Restore" software does not seem to like
these files. When I launch the program, it instructs me to insert the
final disk of the relevant backup set. When I do, it does not
recognize it.

We tried the demo version of Iomega's current backup/restore software,
but it does not handle this .113 file.

My best bet at this point is that we need recovery software of an
intermediate age -- later than 1998, but before the current versions.

Anybody know of anyone using this older software here on campus? Any
dusty collections of Iomega installer CDs laying around?

Thanks!
-Greg
