I see your point -- the software has to at least have the capability.
So, since this seems to be an issue of semantics (does it mean "to
log," as an in doing it all the time, or does it mean to have the
capability to log?) and is clearly confusing, it needs to be clarified
by CISC -- preferably in "writing" on an official website somewhere.
