At least 50% of all SCS installations (wild figure, but it reflects the
management conditions in Econ) are using the distributed client. That does
not recognise a firewall server. Only machines connected to a management
server can have their policies tweaked.

Doing that on a campus-wide basis would be an interesting exercise 8-)
