One user backing up multiple computers with Tivoli Storage Manager

Does anyone have experience using Tivoli to back up more than one
computer? My experience with TSM is limited, but it was suggested to me
that as long as the directory structures of each computer are different,
one is able to backup more than one computer using the same node. Is
this correct, and does anyone have any comments as to any pitfalls or
potential issues with this method? Thanks in advance.
