Many ISP's have implemented blocks on outgoing mail on port 25 when not
using the ISP's SMTP host. This is a challenge for everyone who has to
support home users. One solution may be to use the Cisco VPN that the
campus has in pilot. The software is at.

Subject: [Micronet] Email from Home
Hi, All
The Associate Director from our department (and others) has been trying to
use here email from home. She can receive email but can not send. We have
checked her settings in Eudora (she uses the same laptop both at home and
work) and all seems well. When she gets into work all the mail she tried to
send from home goes out normally.
Any ideas why she can not send from home?
Thanks,
Charles
