Hello all,
I think I posted this awhile ago, but I don't remember seeing any responses.
I'll try again. We have been experiencing some strange behavior with one
particular shortcut icon property/path. This icon maps to an S drive that
contains an application that we use. On several occasions now, the users
have called to say that they can no longer connect to the application. When
we look at the icon, the path as been altered. Instead of pointing to
s:\blah it points to s:\symantec\blah or, today, to s:\blah\excel.
How is it that the icon path can be changed without specifically typing in a
path or creating a shortcut by browsing to the destination. Any clues
greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bond
