I use cdrecord on linux, but nero or some equivalent could be used. Be sure to
set the options for an iso (not sure what they are for nero).

copy iso from cdrom on linux:
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=suse92_1.iso

mount to check iso on linux:
mount -o loop iso_file_name /mnt/disk

cdrecord -scanbus (to get the device, etc)
cdrecord -v dev=0,0,0 debian-30r2-i386-binary-1.iso ( to write / burn )
cdrecord -v dev=ATAPI:0,0,0 KNOPPIX_V3.4-2004-05-17-EN.iso ( for 2.6 linux )
