To expand just a bit on Bernie Tower's previous message, and to
answer Greg's question about whether opportunities to provide
feedback on the CalMail "domains" (aka "secondary domain") service,
which would allow departmental email service to be hosted by CalMail,
had been offered to Micronet members:
Requests for feedback on this service were sent via email to
Micronet members in both October 2003 and February 2004. Many
Micronet members provided feedback on this service during that period.
In addition, Micronet members were also invited to attend a
presentation and feedback meeting on that service on February 25,
2004. Despite heavy rain on the day of the meeting, some 50 people
participated, and contributed a great deal of valuable feedback.
The CalMail service's former lead, Ann Dobson, took detailed notes
at that meeting, which along with email feedback previously received
from Micronet members and others was incorporated into the feedback
page, above.
