Better yet, why does it have to be produced with any proprietary codecs,
or require commercial players to view?
Or, much more importantly, if you are going to package it for the
opensource impaired, why not be packaged for the hearing or sight
impaired as well? That is actually in keeping with American's with
Disabilities Act requirements.

Communication should be presented in freely licensed platform neutral
formats, to ensure free and open access to all.
