Ted's suggestion to clean up the 5.2.1 installer would really be a great help to me and the folks at C@B Consulting who support hundreds of retired faculty and staff.

Subject: [Micronet] Eudora 5.2.1 installer comment
I have been installing Eudora 5.2.1 in preparation for the UClink migration, and I have 2 comments on the installation process:
* The Eudora installer that is available from the WSSG download site is a self-extracting Zip archive, which unzips files to \windows\temp but does execute setup.exe from that folder.
So the user must navigate to the temp folder and manually run setup.exe .
Not all users will understand this process; not all will even notice the destination directory in the Winzip dialog.
* The Eudora setup program mentions that the software must be paid for.
This message can be ignored, but not everyone will understand.
If the installer could be cleaned-up before the (delayed?) migration, life would be better for those users who must do this themselves.
