I've been using uclink (SSL)IMAP through Eudora for about 2 years now and
have all sorts of problems.

Firstly, it mixes up my message contents. It has a tendency to put the
contents of the first email in a folder into the latest email in the
folder. Sometimes removing the cached contents works but sometimes it just
crashes Eudora.

Secondly, Eudora appears to timeout the connection with uclink after a 5
minutes. So if you're idle for a while (reading an email) and then try to
delete it, it'll give you a "Operation aborted by user error message".
Usually, trying the operation again works.

Lastly, it's just slow. Filtering and processing 20 messages sometimes
takes 5 minutes. Compounded by the 1st problem where it messes up the
folder indicies when it crashes.

I just started using Thunderbird this week and have had lots of success
and much less frustration.
