I find the maintenance of deletes, etc., to no problem at all; it's a snap
through the web interface. The volume of communicating with the members
would vary. For us, it's no more than one or two messages per week, but it
would depend on the purpose of your majordomo list. Most groups tell us
they get too much email already, so we try to be judicious. Are you talking
about approving messages from members to the list?

CalMail now has a subscription option that seems similar to majordomo in
many ways, but the advantage -- I think -- would be that when someone
leaves the campus, his email address would eventually drop out through the
CalNet process, so you wouldn't have that maintenance to do.
