   This is a majordomo list on listlink (aka UCLink). To join, you
can send an email message with the body:

   subscribe ucb-net-announce

to majordomo@listlink.berkeley.edu.

   There is also a corresponding list, ucb-voice-announce, which
announces campus voice mail system changes, problems, and outages.
You can sign up for this list using the same method described above,
substituting "subscribe ucb-voice-announce" for "subscribe
ucb-net-announce".

   Both of these lists are also available as Usenet newsgroups at
nttp://news.berkeley.edu:

   ucb.net.announce
   ucb.voice.announce

   Both of these mailing lists are listed on, and are also available

   It might be desirable for these two valuable lists to be more
assertively -- and frequently -- advertised to the campus community.
Several of the relevant parties are members of the Micronet list, and
hopefully they will take this suggestion to heart.
