patran/abaqus/mathematica licenses

Hi

I'm doing renewals for our Patran, Abaqus, Mathematica renewals right now.
Given the budget cuts this year, we want to see if combining orders with
other depts on campus will help us get a better deal.

I have heard some other dept on campus uses Abaqus. For Abaqus, I think
once you reach $10,000, it's unlimited site license. We're kind of close,
but not quite. I've also heard a rumour going around about someone
negotiating a better license deal w/ Abaqus.

Does anyone on campus use these software? If you're interested, could you
email me and give me some information about your licenses.
