Date: Thu Sep 25 2003 - 09:47:15 PDT

The next Micronet meeting, and the first for Fall 2003, will be on

Tuesday 30th September, 10-12pm, in Sibley Auditorium, Bechtel.

The Auditorium is across from the NW corner of Evans Hall, beneath the
Terrace Cafe. It is a food-free zone.

The topics will centre on computer and network security.

Craig Lant from SNS will be speaking about "Minimum Security Standards".
He expects to be fielding lots of questions, so let's not disappoint him!

For a different perspective, Brad Andrews, Allen Chang, and Dedra
Chamberlin from Residential Computing will talk about "Computer Security
Policy and Response in the UCB Residence Halls".
