Residential Computing has a group of 20+ Residential Computing Consultants
(RCCs) (students) who handle any sort of computing problem for students
living in the Residence Halls. In the past, they have also taken on
outside consulting for faculty and other community members.
We're pretty selective so all RCCs are mostly familiar with PCs, some are
more Mac specialized. Most can build computers from scratch and many are
at the expert level.
We always like to give students outside opportunities, especially during
the slower winter months when they don't have many hours at the ResHalls.
If you have any one-off (or even long-term) needs, email them to
helpdesk_at_rescomp.berkeley.edu and I'm pretty sure we can find someone.
