Hi
Anybody have a firewire CDROM I can borrow for the afternoon?
I am trying to repair a Sony VAIO that does not have the docking station or
a CDROM. I want to restore the disk image from the Sony disks. I'm hoping
I can boot from the firewire CDROM ((I have a backpacker, but its a USB
model...can't boot from it, unless there's something in the BIOS I don't
know about). It will only take a few hours to complete, if it works, and I
will get it back to you tomorrow.
Thanks
Bill Gross
