Hi,
I would agree to swap the monitor out and see if it happens. I actually
have a Viewsonic at home for my PC. 8 months after I bought it, it
totally went south on me ... no video whatsoever. But from the power mode
indicator, it seemed as if it was receiving a signal when it clearly
wasn't. I used a different monitor and had no problems.
I sent it in for repair and it is fine now.
