The SBC Yahoo! DSL set up will, if you let it, make Yahoo! Mail (in your
browser) the default mail application, which in effect, stops your mail from
downloading to your separate email client (Eudora in your case). It will
actually change the POP and SMTP settings in your client. I'd look there
first, then change the Yahoo! Mail settings on-line.

Subject: [Micronet] sbc dsl & Eudora
Since changing from directvinternet dsl to sbc/yahoo, I am unable to
download socrates or uclink mail with Eudora. I can send uc email, and
check other pop mail accounts, just can't send through these two UC
systems. I understand other people have had this problem (of course sbc is
unhelpful)...any advice?
Eudora settings are unchanged since they worked fine four days ago with
directvinternet...eg, uclink.berkeley.edu as smtp and pop server both, and
I tried putting my full email address in the space for login name (this was
needed for access to sbc mail) with no luck. .
Thanks
