qpopper error

A user reported that checking mail from Eudora, it download all e-mail on
the server instead of just the e-mail not previously downloaded

Here is our qpopper system error log:
spool smaller than indicated in cache file /var/tmp/mail/.xxxx.cache
(expected 157218; found 19163)

I checked the disk space on /var and it looks fine:
Filesystem kbytes used avail capacity Mounted on
/dev/dsk/c0t3d0s3 3096359 1870639 1163793 62% /var

Any suggestions?
