The Dell also did much better on the Photoshop tasks. Photoshop is
optimized for a dual cpu system and apparently After Effects is not.
The Mac was a dual cpu system, the Dell was single.
I also thought it was interesting that there wasn't that much of a
difference in the timings with the hyperthreading off; it's basically
just a blazing fast machine.
